The Mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, which took more than ten thousand artists three years to complete. Unlike most Shinto shrines, which are simple and minimalist, every facet of Toshogu is ornately decorated. This is also the site of the original Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, See No Evil monkeys.
